Stephanie Schurkens, MA, LAC

Anxiety and OCD can show up in many ways, often placing significant demands on individuals and families. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about how to support your child or teen in managing anxiety or obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), I provide a supportive environment with practical, evidence-based tools to help families navigate these challenges together.

I specialize in working with children, teens, and their families facing anxiety and OCD. I recognize the essential role that parents and caregivers play in helping kids build resilience, and I center my work on partnering with families to strengthen this support. I integrate parents and caregivers directly into the therapeutic process, empowering them with the skills needed to respond effectively to anxiety and OCD. Together, we can develop strategies to reduce anxiety’s grip and foster confidence, flexibility, and lasting change for your child and your family.
